Gwen Miller Moyse
BSW, MSW, Registered Social Worker
There are times in virtually anyone’s life where they may feel overwhelmed with problems or issues that life throws their way; none of us is immune. Starting therapy can be intimidating and uncomfortable for many individuals; seeking help is the first step in acknowledging the issue and getting the help needed. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment to alleviate any uncomfortable feelings and begin the therapeutic journey.
I utilize a client centered and solution focused approach throughout the therapeutic journey. I enjoy meeting and assisting individuals to learn more about themselves, to meet their goals in treatment, and make changes to achieve the results they are seeking.

Favourite Quote: “Happiness or mental health is enjoying the life you are choosing to live, getting along well with the people near and dear to you, doing something with your life you believe is worthwhile, and not doing anything to deprive anyone else of the same chance for happiness that you have.” - William Glasser
More than just my work: I have been married for 33 years and have 2 adult children, and one son in law, plus my very busy and energetic grand puppy! I am a creative individual, who loves the creative process in virtually any area I can find it (including the therapeutic process). I love to draw, paint, craft and create. It brings me joy and peace and settles my often busy brain. I also enjoy walking in nature and practicing yoga, again in my search for calm and peace. On a nice summer day, you may find me and my husband at Wakamow, in our kayaks, so grateful to have this little paradise in our midst.
